We are a local non profit needing a professional logo for upcoming race event. The race event is a public race Boxer Boogy 5k/10k Oct 9th event.
The race theme is "Boxer Boogy" This is a pun on words, Boogy is because Ghosts and Halloween is near the time of the race, The race is Sunday Oct 9th.
I am looking for a mascot of a Boxer dog puppy. Final format is Illustrator vector file.
1) Deliverables include not just the final work but also complete source files as well (so that the Buyer can modify them in the future).
2) Quality: If you present a sample of your work to the buyer, your final deliverables MUST match or exceed that same level of quality.

The boxerpup.png should be used for reference. I really like this image. Its simple and easy to transfer to TShirts and easily recognized from a distance.
However, This Boxer needs a "spooky" or Halloween element.
1. This image will need to be retraced.

Design friendly and good looking text needs to be custom made for this flyer event.
The text on the final drawing should include the following information
1. 1st Annual Boxer Boogie!
2. Sunday Oct 9th 2011
3. 3k / 10k Run
4. $25 3k / $35 10k / $10 Children
The final design will include both elements. 1. The Spooky cute Boxer mascot. 2. The text.
